Choose a wholesale Christmas garland by the display job first, then compare the confirmed finished measurement, visible fullness, flexibility, greenery and accent spacing, attachment security, shaping after unpacking and export packing. A product photo can establish direction, but the quotation and approved sample should define the production reference.

Start with the display job

A mantel garland, door-frame garland and vertical door garland do not perform the same retail job. Naming the position helps the supplier recommend a suitable form instead of treating every long greenery product as interchangeable.

• Mantels and shelving - review visible fullness from the front and how the piece drapes
• Door frames and stair rails - review flexibility, attachment points and the intended installation length

Confirm what the stated length measures

Do not compare two quotations until both suppliers are describing the same measurement. Ask whether the stated length follows the supporting wire, includes extended tips or reflects the practical decorated span after shaping.

• Finished overall length and the measurement method
• Approximate decorated width or profile after normal shaping
• Whether end tips are included in the quoted length
• How much shaping is expected after the carton is opened

Compare fullness, flexibility and construction

Garland value is not determined by length alone. Review how the materials are distributed along the full piece, whether gaps appear after hanging, and whether the supporting structure suits the intended curve or drape.

• Front and side profile at several points rather than one hero close-up
• Spacing and balance of pine, cedar, Magnolia, berries, pinecones, ribbon or other accents
• Security of attachments and exposed wire or plastic at normal viewing distance
• Flexibility and shape retention for the intended display position
• Consistency with a matching wreath, swag or centerpiece if the program is coordinated

Use the sample as the approval standard

Ask for the garland to be photographed or reviewed both immediately after unpacking and after normal reshaping. Record the approved color, material placement, profile, attachment method and packing arrangement so the production team has a specific reference.

• Photograph the full length, both ends, center section and representative close-ups
• Check color and accent balance under the intended retail lighting where possible
• Confirm the acceptable recovery process after folding or compression
• Write down every approved adjustment instead of relying on chat history alone

Approve export packing before production

Long products are often folded or curved to control carton size, so packing and recovery are part of product quality. Confirm the fold direction, tie or inner protection, pieces per carton, carton dimensions, marks, barcodes and any retail label before the bulk order is released.
